Role Description
The Associate Director / Senior Consultant will support and lead advisory engagements across major civil infrastructure projects across NSW.
The successful candidate will contribute to project culture, mentor team members, and actively identify opportunities for performance improvement and delivery excellence.
Leading client-side project and program management for TfNSW and other government principals: procurement, contract delivery, project controls, stakeholder management
Bringing your own relationships and growing the client base as part of how you work, not as a separate target
Helping shape the firm's short, medium and long-term direction
Building your own team as the work grows, with a clear path to Head of Client-Side

Qualifications
10+ years in civil infrastructure, with significant client-side or PMC experience
Existing relationships within specific TfNSW divisions
Hands-on experience in procurement and delivery of government contracts
A track record of getting deliverables out on time without needing to be managed
Solid project management and advisory skills, including lifecycle delivery planning, risk mitigation, and governance across complex civil infrastructure projects.
Experience in pre-contracts and procurement strategy, including scope development, tender evaluation support, and commercial analysis for large infrastructure programs.
Capabilities in design and delivery integration, with a focus on buildability, regulatory compliance, and coordination in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
Stakeholder and relationship management skills, including government liaison, client communication, workshop facilitation, and conflict resolution.
Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in major civil infrastructure delivery (e.g., transport, utilities, public works) within client-side, or consulting environments.
Ability to work effectively in office in the Greater Sydney Area, with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capacity, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
Qualified certifications (e.g., PMP, chartered engineer status, or similar) and familiarity with government procurement frameworks are highly regarded.
