A globally recognised beauty brand with an impressive international footprint is looking for its next Finance Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known and highly regarded beauty business at an significant stage of its growth.
With a small corporate head office team in Sydney and a global reach, this role will suit a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys being hands‐on, building structure and working closely with founders, executives and the Board.
This is far more than a traditional finance role.
You will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of the business, supporting continued growth and ensuring the organisation has the right commercial foundations to scale.
The Role
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the finance function and provide strategic commercial advice across the business.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the overall finance strategy and function
Partnering with the leadership team on commercial and strategic decisions
Providing financial insight to support growth and expansion
Managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting
Overseeing financial controls, governance and risk
Working across manufacturing, wholesale and international operations
Supporting new market, product and business opportunities
Developing scalable financial processes and reporting structures
Working closely with external partners, auditors, banks and advisors
Preparing and presenting financial information to the
Board
Providing transparent commercial analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders




Supporting the business through its next phase of growth and evolution
About You
We are looking for a CPA-qualified Finance Director / senior finance leader who combines strong technical capability with genuine commercial and entrepreneurial thinking.
You will ideally bring:
CPA qualification or equivalent
Senior finance leadership experience within beauty, FMCG, consumer, retail or a similar product‐led environment
Proven experience working within a start‐up, scale‐up or high‐growth business
Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain finance
Experience across wholesale and international markets
Previous Board reporting and Board‐level experience
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence business strategy
Experience building or improving finance functions, systems and processes
Excellent understanding of cash flow, working capital and profitability
The ability to operate both strategically and hands‐on within a lean corporate environment
A confident communicator who can work with founders, executives, investors and senior stakeholders
