Provide culturally responsive support, advocacy and brokerage to First Nations, CALD and Pasifika participants
Build and maintain relationships with Elders, cultural leaders, community-controlled organisations and key stakeholders
Contribute to multidisciplinary assessments, care planning and service delivery
Promote cultural safety, trauma-informed practice, recovery and inclusion
Support cultural capability development across the team through knowledge sharing, training, resources and stakeholder engagement
Involve participants and families in care decisions while maintaining confidentiality, cultural sensitivity and professional standards
Maintain accurate records, support quality improvement activities, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, privacy, workplace health and safety and organisational requirements
Requirements
Robust cultural knowledge and community connections with First Nations, CALD and/or Pasifika communities
Experience providing cultural support, advocacy or service navigation for people experiencing mental health and wellbeing challenges
Ability to build effective relationships with Elders, community-controlled organisations and key community stakeholders
Experience supporting cultural capability and culturally responsive practice
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team




Understanding of social and emotional wellbeing and recovery-oriented approaches
Strong communication, interpersonal and record-keeping skills
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy
Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for work
