Goodwill Central Texas is opening a brand-recent store in Lockhart, and we're building our team now!
As a Merchandise Processor, you'll play an key role in getting our new store ready to open its doors.
You'll sort, price, prepare, and stock donated merchandise while helping create an exciting shopping experience for our community.
New hires will train at our San Marcos Goodwill location while we prepare for the Lockhart store opening.
If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, spotting great finds, and being part of a team, this could be the opportunity for you!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Sort, hang, price, and prepare donated merchandise for the sales floor
Receive donations
Meet daily processing goals while keeping your work area clean and organized
Transport and stock merchandise on the sales floor by category
Provide friendly customer service and assist with donation intake when needed
Cross-train in other areas of the store and jump in where help is needed
Help create a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming store environment
Work as part of a positive team that is focused on serving our customers and community
WHAT YOU BRING
A positive attitude and strong team spirit
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.




and stand/walk for extended periods
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Ability to communicate clearly and follow directions in English
6+ months of work, retail, or volunteer experience is a plus
Reliability and pride in doing quality work
Retail experience is helpful — but we're willing to train the right person!
