RETAIL OPERATIONS & SALES MANAGER - SYDNEY!
A premium retail brand is looking for a commercially minded, hands-on operator to support growth and performance across retail operations, B2B sales and eCommerce.
Retail Operations
Manage day-to-day operations across the retail network, ensuring consistent brand standards, service excellence, operational efficiency, visual merchandising and stock availability
Work closely with store teams to achieve sales targets by monitoring performance, analysing KPIs and implementing action plans
Prepare regular sales reports, operational updates and performance analysis for management
Support new store openings, refurbishments and other retail development projects
Coordinate the rollout of recent operational procedures, systems, initiatives and seasonal campaigns across all stores
Work closely with Store Managers to monitor performance, customer service standards, mystery shopping results and Google Reviews
Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to ensure stores meet brand presentation standards
Identify operational improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, profitability and customer experience
Cross-functional Collaboration
Act as the key liaison between Retail Operations and internal support functions, including Marketing, HR, Supply Chain, Training and Finance
Approve local marketing initiatives and review sales performance and return on investment
Coordinate with Product Marketing and Supply Chain on seasonal product launches, novelties and promotional activities
Work with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to forecast stock requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels
Partner with the Training team to support retail capability development and operational excellence
Customer Experience & CRM
Support the delivery of exceptional customer service by driving service standards and satisfaction initiatives
Promote effective execution of loyalty and CRM programs, encouraging customer enrolment and engagement




Work with store teams and Marketing to analyse customer data and contribute to CRM campaigns that improve acquisition, retention and lifetime value
Identify, develop and secure new B2B opportunities across corporate gifting, hospitality, events and strategic partnerships
Represent the brand with a strong understanding of its heritage, craftsmanship and premium positioning
Develop tailored proposals and quotations, working with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer solutions
Manage the end-to-end B2B sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiations, order management and account servicing
eCommerce Support
Support ongoing growth of the eCommerce business by coordinating online product presentation, promotional activities, inventory availability, fulfilment alignment and customer experience improvements
Monitor online performance and provide insights and recommendations to optimise digital sales
Business Planning & Reporting
Assist with sales budget planning, forecasting and periodic business reviews
Analyse market trends, competitor activity and commercial opportunities to support growth across Retail, B2B and eCommerce channels
What you'll bring
Minimum 5+ years' experience in retail operations, retail management, business development, corporate sales or a similar commercial role
Experience within premium retail, luxury retail, food & beverage, FMCG or consumer brands highly regarded
Demonstrated experience analysing sales performance and KPIs, and implementing initiatives to improve results
Experience supporting multi-site retail operations and working with cross-functional teams
Proven experience in B2B sales, corporate partnerships or key account management is essential
Exposure to eCommerce, digital sales or omnichannel retail is desirable
Robust commercial acumen, analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
Strong project management, organisational, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel as required to support stores, projects and business initiatives
