As a
Technical Portfolio Implementation Analyst
, you'll be responsible for the ongoing operation, support, configuration and continuous improvement of our Matrix Rebalancer platform.
You'll act as a trusted expert across fund structures, portfolio hierarchies, target allocations, implementation policy settings and rebalancing methodologies that support investment outcomes.
This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner with Investment Implementation, Investment Operations, Investment Data, technology teams and external vendors to ensure rebalancing processes remain effective, accurate and aligned to business objectives.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to platform enhancements, testing activities, operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane or Sydney.
Responsibilities
Act as the subject matter expert for the Matrix Rebalancer platform and associated rebalancing processes.
Maintain fund structures, portfolio hierarchies, mandates, asset pools and portfolio group configurations.
Manage and validate rebalancing rules, target allocations, implementation policy settings and related business parameters.
Assess, implement and test configuration changes arising from new products, portfolios, restructures and business initiatives.
Analyse rebalancing outcomes and investigate configuration, process or data-related issues.
Coordinate business testing, user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
Develop and maintain operational procedures,



documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, technology teams and vendors to support system performance and enhancements.
Identify opportunities to improve automation, controls, efficiency and overall platform capability.
Qualifications
You hold tertiary qualifications in Finance, Investments, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Your experience includes supporting, configuring or administering investment operations, portfolio management or rebalancing platforms.
You'll bring a strong understanding of investment fund structures, portfolio hierarchies, asset pools and mandate relationships.
You're knowledgeable in strategic asset allocation, target allocations and portfolio implementation concepts.
You have experience analysing and resolving complex operational, configuration or data-related issues.
Your background includes managing configuration changes, testing activities and controlled releases.
You'll demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to assess impacts across portfolios and investment structures.
You'll have exposure to UAT, regression testing and release readiness activities.
You can leverage SQL,



reporting or data analysis skills to support investigations and root cause analysis.
