About the Role
We're looking for a
Paediatric Occupational Therapist
to join our Brisbane South / South East team.
You'll work across a flexible mix of
home, school, community, telehealth and clinic settings
, with optional access to our
Coorparoo and Graceville clinics
.
Depending on where you're based, your caseload could include areas such as
Coorparoo, Mount Gravatt, Sunnybank, Eight Mile Plains, Rochedale, Springwood, Logan, Loganlea and surrounding suburbs
.
And while our broader team covers a large area, you won't be expected to travel across all of it.
Wherever possible, we'll build your caseload around where you live
, helping keep travel practical and giving you more flexibility over your working week.
Your Caseload & Team
You'll support children and young people across a varied NDIS caseload, including
autism, ADHD, developmental delay, intellectual disability, sensory and emotional regulation and physical disability
.
You'll join a multidisciplinary team of
11 clinicians
, including experienced OTs with strong paediatric knowledge and specialist experience across areas such as
sensory and emotional regulation, Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology and home modifications
.
Whether you're early in your career or bringing established paediatric experience, you'll have access to
shadowing, peer support, clinical supervision,
Communities of Practice and multidisciplinary learning
.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver paediatric OT across home, school, clinic and community settings
Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
Support functional, sensory, motor and emotional regulation goals
Develop therapy plans alongside children, families and their support networks
Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary colleagues
Participate in regular supervision, peer learning and professional development

What You'll Bring
Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration or eligibility
An interest in or experience working with paediatric participants
Robust communication and organisational skills
A collaborative and person-centred approach
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work
While this role has a strong paediatric focus, there may also be opportunities to work across the lifespan depending on your interests, experience and local service needs.
