Provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio spanning metropolitan, regional and rural communities across NSW
Translate organisational priorities into strong service, people and community outcomes
Build trusted relationships across the geographic area and represent Wellways with key stakeholders, community partners and local networks
Lead services across Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst, Lightning Ridge, Cowra, Coonabarabran, Walgett, Windsor, Penrith, Campbelltown, Bella Vista, Katoomba, Lithgow and Newcastle
Lead implementation of organisational strategy, driving service excellence, contractual performance and participant outcomes
Ensure services meet funding, quality and regulatory obligations
Build strategic partnerships that strengthen community impact and service integration
Identify opportunities for service development, funding and growth
Lead organisational change and support leaders through growth and transformation
Champion lived and living experience, co-production and participant voice
Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
Oversee financial performance, budgeting and resource allocation
Ensure strong governance, risk management and compliance
Create the conditions for leaders and teams to thrive while maintaining connection to local communities and services

Proven track record of leading complex services, programs or portfolios
Experience developing high-performing leaders and teams
Experience leading large, geographically dispersed portfolios
Experience translating strategy into action
Experience driving service improvement and identifying opportunities for business development, growth and innovation
Experience building partnerships with government, community and sector stakeholders
Experience managing budgets, resources and performance
Commitment to participant-centred practice, inclusion, cultural safety and lived and living experience
Regular travel and a robust presence across the region are essential
