Key Responsibilities




Deliver targeted EAL instruction to students across varying English proficiency levels
Deliver structured, engaging lessons in line with the school's explicit instruction model
Foster a positive, trauma-informed classroom culture that supports diverse learners
Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to support student wellbeing and achievement
Promote inclusive practices that respect and celebrate cultural diversity
Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with families
You Will Have
VIT registration (current or pending)
Demonstrated experience working with primary-aged students, ideally in Prep and Grade 6
Strong behaviour management skills and trauma-informed practices
Proven ability to deliver structured lessons and routines
A commitment to inclusive education and multicultural engagement
Enthusiasm for professional development and teamwork
Strong knowledge of scaffolding strategies for English language learners
Capability to support students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
Understanding of trauma-informed practice (or willingness to learn and apply)
