The Olympic and Paralympic Games Office (OPGO) is the front door of the Queensland Government on Games matters.
As the Senior Policy Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic policy initiatives and legacy outcomes for the Brisbane **** Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Opportunity
As the Senior Policy Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic policy initiatives and legacy outcomes for the Brisbane **** Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Some Of The Responsibilities Include
Responding to requests for information and advice across government, including preparing timely, well-researched correspondence, submissions, briefs and responses on complex policy issues related to the Games.
Supporting the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of strategic policy initiatives, projects and legislation.
Undertaking research and analysis on a range of Games-related issues to support key government priorities and inform decision-making.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly organised and adaptable professional with strong analytical, problem solving and written communication skills.
You will be capable of interpreting complex information,



developing evidence-based advice, and producing high-quality written materials for senior stakeholders.
You will also be able to manage competing priorities, deliver outcomes within tight timeframes, and build effective relationships to achieve positive outcomes in a collaborative environment.
