Sante Recruitment is seeking a Staff Specialist Paediatrician to join the thriving Paediatric Department at Coffs Harbour, offering an excellent chance for a Paediatrician seeking a broad clinical role within a supportive and progressive regional service.
This is an opportunity to join an experienced consultant team that places a strong emphasis on
teamwork, teaching, mentorship, trainee development and clinician wellbeing
, while playing an active role in the ongoing development of paediatric services across the Mid North Coast.
The Opportunity
The Coffs Harbour Paediatric Department provides high-quality
general paediatric care across inpatient and outpatient settings
.
You will join an approachable and experienced consultant group, with the opportunity to develop your clinical interests while maintaining a broad general paediatric workload.
The department has a strong culture of collaboration, with consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team actively involved in
service development and improving access to paediatric care for the local community
.

Paediatric Acute Review Clinic (PARC)

Your Role
As a Staff Specialist Paediatrician, you will contribute to:




General paediatric inpatient and outpatient services
Assessment and management of children with a broad range of presentations
Development and expansion of paediatric services
Multidisciplinary team-based care
Teaching and supervision of junior medical staff and trainees
Supporting the professional development of colleagues
Clinical governance and quality improvement
Outreach and community-based paediatric services
There is scope to develop your own clinical interests within the service.
An interest in
critical care or developmental paediatrics
would be highly regarded.
