The Role
As a member of our team, you will ideally be a conscientious, flexible and innovative teacher who is committed to the development of the whole student.
You will ideally be actively involved both within the school and wider community, highly reflective of your teaching practices and committed to evidence-based decision making and differentiation.
Suitable applicants will ideally be motivated, possessing the ability to teach secondary Science and be knowledgeable of the Western Australian Curriculum.
As a Science Teacher, you would deliver a differentiated curriculum which meets the needs of all students and have an expectation that all students can reach their potential.
You should be a teacher who aspires for academic excellence and is committed to high-quality teaching and learning.




It would be beneficial if the applicant has experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Physics, Chemistry, Psychology or Human Biology.
Suitable applicants will ideally possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills which will be used to develop and promote the school's values, ethos and priorities across the school community.
Suitable applicants should also build positive relationships with students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers




Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.
At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
