My client, a well-known Electrical Contractor with a national presence in Australia are looking to appoint a new Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Melbourne team.

After a number of successful tender wins for major builders across the commercial construction, data centre, infrastructure and healthcare sectors, ****** is looking very busy for the company and as such the design team needs to grow.
n
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar level position working on high value packages of work in the commercial construction world, be that with a consultant or contracting background.

You must be a Registered Skilled Engineer and able to sign off design.
n
General Duties will include:
n
n
Produce concept and detailed designs in line with client requirements
n
Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures;
n




Ensure the project scope is explicit and that changes comply with project change management processes;
n
Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning stages
n
Complete concept reviews and undertaking detailed designs
n
Participate in the delivery of electrical design components of large-scale projects from inception to completion
n
Utilise your problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions
n
Work with clients across the country, as well as on major national defence projects
n
n
