Sante Recruitment is seeking a
Specialist Anaesthetist
to join the growing anaesthetic service at
Moruya
, on the spectacular South Coast of NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the service at a significant time of growth, with
Moruya Hospital transitioning from a Level 3 to Level 4 facility in March ****
and the new
Eurobodalla Regional Hospital
set to transform healthcare delivery across the region.

The Opportunity
As a Specialist Anaesthetist, you will provide contemporary specialist anaesthetic services across a broad range of elective and emergency surgical activity.
The Current Service Provides Anaesthesia For
General Surgery
Urology
Ophthalmology
Gynaecology and Obstetrics
Elective and emergency surgery
Procedural services
Perioperative care
You will work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, supporting safe and effective perioperative pathways and contributing to the continued development of specialist services across Eurobodalla.

A New Era for Healthcare in Eurobodalla
The
Eurobodalla Regional Hospital
is a major $330 million investment in the future of healthcare on the NSW South Coast.
The new purpose-built hospital will be larger than the existing
Moruya and Batemans Bay hospitals combined
, with capacity to expand as the needs of the community evolve.
The New Hospital Will Include
Emergency Department




8-bed Intensive Care Unit / Close Observation Unit
Surgical and operating theatres
Day-stay surgical unit
Expanded medical imaging, including MRI
Increased chemotherapy capacity
Expanded renal dialysis services
Ambulatory and community outpatient services
Paediatric and maternity services
Special Care Nursery
Short-term mental health inpatient beds
Enhanced education and training facilities

Growing Surgical & Anaesthetic Services
Moruya Hospital is currently a
Level 3 facility
and will transition to
Level 4 services
in March ****.

The Requirements Applicants Will Have
Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent overseas specialist qualification
Current registration or eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA
Appropriate specialist experience in Anaesthesia
Ability to provide safe, contemporary specialist anaesthetic care
Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
Commitment to clinical governance, education and continuing professional development
International Specialists Welcome
Internationally trained Anaesthetists are encouraged to enquire.
Candidates with an overseas specialist qualification who are eligible for the
AHPRA Expedited Specialist Pathway or ANZCA Specialist Pathway
