In this influential leadership role, you'll partner with the Investments Leadership Team to lead multi-year strategic planning for the Investments business and help translate strategic priorities into organisational outcomes that support better outcomes for our members.

As a Senior Manager - Investment Strategic Planning (known internally as Senior Portfolio Manager - Strategic Planning), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our Investments business.
Partnering closely with the Investments Leadership Team, you'll lead the development and evolution of the Investments strategic plan, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, long-term objectives and member outcomes.
You'll bring strategic insight, commercial thinking and influencing skills to help identify emerging risks, opportunities, challenge assumptions and assess progress against agreed objectives.
Working across a broad stakeholder network, you'll provide analysis, advice and recommendations that support informed decision-making and organisational outcomes.
You'll guide the evolution of the Investments target operating model, strategic workforce planning as well as engagement with strategic industry partnerships.

Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation and periodic review of the Investments multi-year strategic plan aligned with enterprise priorities and member outcomes.
Partner with the Investments Leadership Team to identify priorities, risks and opportunities and provide strategic insight and challenge.
Monitor delivery of the strategic plan including progress, outcomes, dependencies and risks, supported by effective reporting and governance.
Establish reporting and governance processes that support accountability and informed decision-making.
Lead the evolution of the Investments target operating model and strategic workforce planning in partnership with key stakeholders.
Provide advice and recommendations to senior leaders and governance forums, ensuring strategic activities meet governance, risk and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills.
We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them.
It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, commerce, economics, engineering, science or a related discipline.
Your postgraduate qualifications in business, strategy or an MBA are highly regarded.
You'll bring significant experience within the investments industry and strong knowledge of market trends, regulations and investment strategies.
You're experienced in developing and delivering enterprise or business unit strategy within a complex environment.
You possess exceptional research, analysis and problem-solving capabilities supported by data-driven thinking.
Your stakeholder management and influencing skills enable you to build trusted executive-level relationships.
You'll demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders and governance forums.
You can successfully manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of delivery.
