Laboratory Technician | $65,000 – $70,000 + Super | Permanent Full-Time About the Role We're looking for a motivated Laboratory Technician to support our Head Microbiologist in a busy, hands-on laboratory environment.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail who enjoys structured, process-driven work and wants to build their career in microbiology and laboratory operations.
You'll play a key role in day-to-day lab activities — from manufacturing production batches and preparing culture media, to sample handling, equipment maintenance, and general lab support.
Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and manufacturing of production batches according to established procedures Prepare, label, and handle samples for microbiological analysis, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability Perform routine cleaning, sterilisation, and calibration of laboratory equipment and workspaces Support data entry, report generation, and sample analysis under supervision Maintain accurate laboratory logs and records in line with company and regulatory standards Follow all safety, hygiene, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
