A privately held WA developer with a significant masterplanned residential portfolio is appointing a Development Manager to take ownership of a flagship community.
This is a business in genuine growth.
The acquisition pipeline has been building steadily and quietly, funded from a solid balance sheet rather than dependent on market timing, which means the workload in front of this role is real and already secured.
It is deliberately structured to move quickly.
Decisions are made in the room, not escalated through committees and interstate reporting lines.
You will take full carriage of a masterplanned community, from strategy and feasibility through planning, delivery and settlement, with direct reports under you now and the likelihood of a larger team as the pipeline converts.
Structure and scope will continue to evolve as the business grows.
What this is not is a role inside a large, heavily resourced corporate.
There is no deep bench of analysts,



coordinators and in-house specialists to pass work to.
The people who do well here are senior operators who are comfortable staying close to the detail while leading a team.
Ownership sits with you, and that is the appeal rather than the catch.

Remuneration is not capped by a band.
It will be structured around the calibre of the person appointed and benchmarked against the current WA development market.
