Make your mark in a high-performing production team Work with leading global supplier partners Join an established growing apparel business Our client is an established and growing business within the apparel and schoolwear space, and we're currently looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join their Melbourne team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid garment production experience who is confident managing high volumes, working closely with offshore suppliers and overseeing the production process from pre-production samples through to bulk delivery.
Managing production orders from pre-production sample stage through to bulk delivery Coordinating a high volume of production orders and PPS throughout the year Reviewing production documentation, samples and approvals against customer requirements Working closely with an established supplier base across China and Vietnam Monitoring critical production milestones and proactively identifying potential delays Comparing suppliers and pricing within approved structures Building strong relationships with offshore factories and suppliers Working collaboratively with internal Sales and wider business teams Coordinating freight requirements where required Supporting the resolution of production and quality issues Managing busy seasonal production periods and competing deadlines Contributing to improvements across production processes and systems About You To be considered, you will ideally have: Experience within garment/apparel production Previous experience within schoolwear or uniform production Strong knowledge of the end-to-end garment production lifecycle Experience managing pre-production samples and bulk production Experience working directly with overseas suppliers and factories Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills The ability to confidently manage multiple orders and priorities at once A proactive approach to identifying and escalating potential production risks Strong communication skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach We're looking for someone who is commercially aware, collaborative and comfortable working within an evolving business.
You'll be someone who takes ownership of your work, communicates clearly and enjoys creating structure in a rapid-paced production environment.
