Senior People Culture Business Partner Melbourne's West | Full Time | Reports to Chief People Officer A major FMCG and manufacturing business in Melbourne's west is looking for a Senior People Culture Business Partner.
Running large-scale, 24/7 production and distribution sites, they need a hands-on HR leader, someone immersed in office, close to Operations, Production, Quality, Safety and Supply Chain, not working from behind a desk.
You'll advise senior leaders, manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, and drive change across a large frontline workforce.
Strong, practical experience with EBAs, unions and enterprise bargaining is essential.
What You'll Be Doing Leading the People Culture partnering function across multiple operational sites Partnering with Operations on workforce planning, organisational design and succession Providing hands-on leadership across employee and industrial relations, from grievances and investigations through to enterprise bargaining Interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements and coaching leaders through complex IR matters Driving employee engagement, culture and change initiatives across a large, unionised workforce Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, site leadership and operational managers Leading strategic People Culture projects tied to workforce capability and future readiness What You'll Bring 5–10 years' HR experience, including significant time in a senior HR Business Partnering role Strong background in manufacturing, FMCG, food production,



logistics or another complex multi-site environment Deep, hands-on experience across Employee and Industrial Relations, including Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation Experience within unionised environments and supporting enterprise bargaining A track record of partnering with senior leaders across large, frontline, 24/7 operations Strong commercial judgement paired with genuine coaching and relationship-building skills A tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related field (relevant certifications highly regarded) Why This Role This is more than a business partnering role, it's an opportunity to shape the people strategy of a major operational business at a pivotal time, working alongside a Chief People Officer and senior leadership team who value strategic thinking backed by practical, on-the-ground delivery.
