The Business Manager informs, shapes and delivers agreed priorities that align with strategic directions and enable efficiencies, clear decision-making processes, a continued focus on people and wellbeing and a high standard of service to our customers, clients and stakeholders.
As the Business Manager, you will: Facilitate the planning, design and implementation of divisional support services and functions that enable the achievement of strategic objectives identified by the Director, Digital Transformation and senior leaders.
Coordination for the Director and the wider division, proactive stakeholder engagement with a focus on building and maintain strong relationships.
Support proactive communications to internal and external audience, with a strong focus on timely and accurate information.
Identify resourcing and capability requirements, working in partnership with Directors, managers and divisional partners.
Oversee the day to day business operations of the Digital Transformation division, working with the Manager, Analytics and Information Services and Product Managers.
Key Competencies: To apply and succeed in the role, you will have: Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships and networks with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience in providing high-quality executive support functions to senior government executives, including executive officer functions, briefing coordination and management and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Ability to work collaboratively with others to resolve complex issues, influence positive outcomes and maintain a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement whilst modelling high standards of service delivery and influence best practice.
Experience in planning, developing and administering projects to achieve successful outcomes; including implementing strategies for monitoring outcomes, and implementing risk management principles.

Qualifications: Essential: Nil Desirable: A tertiary qualification in a field relevant to the position.
Special Conditions: The role will be offered full-time (1.0 FTE) for up to 28 months Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) and Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment.
