The Opportunity: Our client is Australia's No. 1 supplier of structural and treated timber, nationally supplying quality timber products across the country, and is seeking an experienced Saw Doctor/Technician to maintain, repair, and replace saw blades and cutting equipment to join our Team in beautiful Kuitpo at outstanding rates Monday to Friday - 8hr shifts Wages starting from $*****/hour with penalty rates up to $108/hr plus Superannuation Genuine Temp to Permanent Opportunity Key Responsibilities: Maintain, service, set up, adjust and repair saw blades and cutting equipment to meet quality standards and operational requirements Inspections of saws, knives, and related tooling for wear, damage or faults Sharpen, tension, level and align circular and band saws Supervision, practical exposure and guidance, ensuring maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with WHS, isolation/LOTP and site procedures Requirements to fulfill the role:



Trade Qualifications of Cert III in Saw Technology or equivalent highly regarded, or extensive experience in a sawmill or timber processing environment Strong experience with sharpening, tensioning, levelling and maintaining circular and band saws Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose faults and complete minor repairs and adjustments accurately and proficiently Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial workplace Must be physically fit and healthy and able to pass Random Drug and Alcohol testing Full, unlimited working rights in Australia How to Apply: If you are looking for reliable, ongoing work in a friendly environment and with a steady weekly payroll, please "Apply Now"
