An opportunity has presented itself for a Terminal Supervisor to join our team at our Sydney Freight Terminal based in Chullora NSW.
What You'll Do Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of a busy freight terminal while driving safe, productive, and productive outcomes for our people, customers, and business.
Reporting to the Superintendent, you will: Lead, supervise, and coordinate terminal operations to ensure trains operate safely, efficiently, and on time.
Inspire a safety-focused culture through visible leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Coordinate operational resources and workforce activities to maximise terminal productivity and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with network access requirements, operational procedures, and company standards.
Implement and communicate organisational, divisional, and local safety instructions across the team.
Conduct safety observations, performance assessments, and ongoing capability development activities.




Work closely with Integrated Planning Services and Network Control to support effective train movements and operational performance.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Contribute to a 24/7 operation working rotating shifts including weekends and nights.
What You'll Bring Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a safety-critical environment.
Experience leading, coaching, and motivating teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
Background in rail, transport, logistics, or a related industry highly regarded.
Strong commitment to safety leadership and fostering a positive safety culture.
Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
Experience developing team capability and driving performance outcomes.
