The Advantages Total remuneration package up to AUD $140,000 (incl base, super and company car) Up to 10% TFO Performance Bonus ($$$) Paid training (8 weeks) Company phone and laptop / tablet provided Additional days of leave – you'll receive a paid 'ME' day and one paid volunteer leave day annually Option to purchase up to two additional weeks of leave per year Paid parental leave Continuous development opportunities Insurance discounts employee benefits Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Motor Assessing Manager, the Motor Assessor's primary responsibility is to manage vehicle repairs, ensuring they are safe, cost-effective and completed in a timely manner, while adhering to all A G policies and guidelines.
Accurately assess vehicle damage to determine cost effective and secure repairs using the correct repair method.
Provide excellent service to our customers both on the phone and in person.
Undertaking vehicle assessments in line with underwriting terms conditions claims protocols.
Writing accurate assessment reports,



negotiating correct scope costs for vehicle repairs Build and maintain professional relationships with the smash repair industry and other stakeholders Skills Experience Cert III in Panel Beating or Automotive Spray-Painting is essential Computer/technology competence (skills testing may be required) Ability to thrive in fast paced high pressure environments and ambition to grow alongside the business Ability to prepare damage repair quotes and estimations (training provided) You will be required to complete background checks and proof of full working rights in Australia to be able to work in Insurance Our Client: Budget Direct is the fastest-growing major Motor and Home insurer in Australia starting their operations in ****.
