Senior Security Architect | Top-Tier Law Firm | Sydney CBD | Hybrid Permanent | $200K – $225K package + bonus We're working with one of Australia's leading professional services firms, an organisation with a history spanning more than 150 years and a genuinely global footprint across Asia, the UK and beyond, to find a Senior Security Architect for their Sydney team.
This is a newly created, additional role inside a mature, well-resourced Information Security function.
You'll be the go-to technical voice for the wider security team, engineers, analysts and a GRC specialist, providing architecture guidance and technical mentorship, without needing formal people management experience.
Reporting to the Information Security Manager, with a close working relationship to the Head of Information Security, you'll have genuine influence across a large, complex environment.
What you'll be doing Providing security architecture guidance across day-to-day solution and design reviews, assessing business needs and locking down minimum security and technical controls Building repeatable, reusable security patterns and reference architectures alongside Enterprise and Solution Architects Reviewing current and existing technology projects for compliance with architecture and security standards Guiding the high-level design of key initiatives including cloud migration (Azure), network segmentation and CASB/SASE adoption Acting as a trusted technical mentor for the security engineering, analyst and GRC team Bringing pragmatic, risk-based thinking to design decisions and staying close to emerging technology and threat trends, including Gen-AI and agentic AI What you'll bring Must-have: Strong Security Architecture experience,
