Your opportunity
As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare Sydney, you will provide secure, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse and complex needs.
You will work closely with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to identify changes early and support each resident's quality of life
With empathy and resilience, you will:
Assess residents and develop, implement and review individual care plans
Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Recognise and upscale resident deterioration, incidents and near misses
Apply infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak precautions
Support care team members to deliver safe, person-centered care

What's required:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification
NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
Sound knowledge of nursing principles, safe resident care and clinical escalation
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Clinical knowledge
You understand how to recognise and respond to changes in a resident's condition, including reduced oral intake, dehydration, weight loss, confusion or delirium, falls risk, reduced mobility, skin concerns and pressure injury risk.
You also understand the importance of monitoring and preventing issues included in the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, such as falls, pressure injuries, unplanned weight loss, medication-related harm, infections, restrictive practices and changes in resident wellbeing.
Experience and development
Aged care or other relevant clinical experience is valued but not essential.
We welcome nurses who bring a fresh perspective, a willingness to learn and a positive approach.
You will be supported to build your knowledge and confidence within residential aged care.
