up to 45.6 hours per fortnight, multiple positions

Salary range: $***** to $***** p.h. (NG6-1)

4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
n
The position of the Clinical Nurse Refugee and Community Health is responsible for assisting with all aspect of community health nursing care as well as the coordination of health screening for refugees relocating to Townsville, linkage to primary health care providers and providing access to defined clinical services outlined in the refugee health program under the Commonwealth Humanitarian Settlement Program. This role works autonomously within the Healthcare Team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing, and delivering of refugee specialist nursing care and in collaboration and close communication with the Townsville Multicultural Group (TMSG), General Practices and The Townsville Hospital to provide successful coordination of health screening and settlement services to transition successfully into their new lives through community connections.

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
n
Possession of class C drivers' licence.
n
This is a VPD risk role.
n
Probation period may apply.
n
Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
