About Our Role
Permanent Full‐Time | Monday to Friday Roster | Wesley Vale, TAS
Join our close‐knit Harvesters team in Wesley Vale, where you'll play an important role supporting site operations through a combination of maintenance stores coordination, inventory management and administration support. Reporting to the Harvest & Field Shop Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the engineering stores function, ensuring maintenance teams have the parts, materials and consumables they need to keep operations running smoothly.
This is a diverse role that combines inventory management, purchasing and supplier coordination with broader site administration responsibilities. Alongside maintaining accurate stock records and supporting maintenance operations, you'll also provide administrative support across the site, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in staying organised and likes the person others can rely on to keep things running efficiently.
What You Will Do
Manage engineering stores inventory, including receipting, issuing and maintaining accurate stock records
Coordinate the sourcing and purchasing of parts, materials and consumables
Support maintenance and operational teams by ensuring critical parts and materials are available when required
Maintain inventory accuracy through effective stock control,
stocktaking and inventory management processes
Process invoices and assist with supplier setup and administration
Provide payroll backup support and general administrative assistance across the site
Act as a key site contact for visitors, contractors and suppliers
Assist with site events, compliance activities, environmental audits and record keeping
Support continuous improvement initiatives and day‐to‐day operational activities across the site
About You
A 100% commitment to Safety, Health and Wellbeing in the workplace.
Experience in stores, inventory control, spare parts coordination, purchasing or a similar role.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment will be highly regarded.
Strong administration and organisational skills.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Confident working with suppliers, contractors and operational stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning recent systems.
Exposure to JDE, MEX or similar inventory and maintenance systems will be advantageous.
A practical, hands‐on and proactive approach to work.
Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
Willingness to undertake a pre‐employment medical assessment, including urine‐based drug and alcohol screening.
