As our student community continues to grow, we are expanding our teaching team across Australia throughout the year.
Who We Are
We're an online tutoring provider specialising in personalised, one-on-one lessons, backed by a network of more than 300 registered teachers. Our programs cover senior secondary exam preparation (HSC, VCE, WACE, QCE and SACE), English reading and writing, Maths, Science, and preparation for Scholarship and Selective School entry exams for students in Years 1 to 10.
The Role: Secondary English Teachers - Flexible Online 1-on-1 Tutoring
We're growing our team and welcoming enthusiastic, experienced educators to teach English at any year level, from early primary through to Year 12, including:
HSC English (Standard / Advanced / Extension 1 / Extension 2)
Primary and junior secondary English, reading, writing and literature (Years 1–10)
Whether your strength is junior secondary English, senior English, or Year 12 exam preparation, we'd love to hear from you. Teachers comfortable teaching across multiple year levels and English subjects are especially welcome.
Our students include Australian-born students, both native English speakers and EAL learners, as well as international students from China.
What You'll Do
Deliver engaging one-on-one online lessons tailored to each student's learning needs
Help students develop strong English skills and confidence in reading, writing, analysis and comprehension
Support students with course content, homework, assignments and exam preparation
Prepare students for senior secondary assessments and final examinations
Help students develop effective essay-writing, analytical and exam techniques
Follow individualised lesson plans built around each student's needs
Track and report on student progress
Provide motivation, encouragement and academic guidance
Communicate professionally with our Teaching Assistants regarding student progress and learning needs
In-person sessions at a student's home or a local library may also be available for teachers who would like this option
What We're Looking For
A teaching qualification, relevant teaching or tutoring experience, or current enrolment in a teaching degree is highly advantageous
Familiarity with a senior secondary English curriculum (HSC, VCE, QCE, WACE or SACE), we also welcome teachers who focus on Years 7–10
Solid grounding in English and literature
A reliable, consistent weekly schedule and a professional approach to teaching
Stable internet connection and confidence using online teaching technology

Your years of teaching experience
Your classroom experience in Australian secondary schools
Your expertise preparing students for Year 12 final exams and internal assessments
The breadth of year levels and subjects you can confidently teach
A supportive teaching environment with friendly, well-disciplined students
Ongoing coaching, resources and professional development to support you in your teaching
Meaningful experience that complements your classroom teaching and strengthens your professional experience
How We Support You
We take care of matching you with the right students and handling the admin, so your energy stays on teaching.
Tailored learning materials and individual Student Learning Plans are provided for each student
Our Teaching Assistants manage lesson scheduling and communicate with parents on your behalf
Homework marking support is available from our Teaching Assistants, using the provided answer keys
Our Learning Coordinator keeps parents informed about each student's progress and ongoing study plan
You can focus on teaching while we support the administrative side of the tutoring process
