They are looking for an experienced individual who has a wealth of Category experience they bring to the table and looking for the next step in their career. Due to an exciting recent acquisition to their business, they are on the lookout for a Category Leader to join their Senior Management team.
Role Description
This position will see you as an important leader within the business working closely with the Head of Marketing, Head of Sales and have direct reports. You will be leading from the front and be confident in reaching their ambitious goals in the next ***** months. You will form an integral part of the Commercial team and lead Category strategy and ensure market growth. You will be managing the current category team and focussing on relationships across the major Grocery, Retail and Pharmacy channels.



This position is essential to the continued success of this business.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a concrete understanding of the FMCG sector and have 5+ years in Leadership Category and Budgeting experience. You will have a solid understanding of the Major retail market with direct experience with Major Grocery chains including Coles & Woolworths, Major Retailers and the Pharmacy channel.
You will be responsible for the Strategic Category direction of the business, you will manage Category insights and customer engagement. You will have up-to-date knowledge in best practice and be able to demonstrate a track record of success. You will have a strategic mindset resulting in increased overall sales and performance in your previous roles.
