Maintenance Electricians – Young, NSW Permanent Full-Time Opportunities

We are seeking multiple Maintenance Electricians to join a well-established food production facility in Young, NSW. Working within a modern processing environment, you'll play a critical role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting production uptime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

n The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Breakdown and preventative maintenance across processing and packaging equipment
n
Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
n
Maintenance, repair and testing of motors, drives, control systems, sensors and production equipment
n
Diagnosing and resolving PLC, instrumentation and automation-related faults
n
Supporting planned shutdowns, repairs and equipment upgrades
n
Assisting with electrical installations and continuous improvement projects
n
Ensuring all electrical maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements
n
Working closely with production teams to maximise plant reliability and performance
n
n
About You To be successful, you will have:




n
n
Electrical Trade Qualification and current NSW Electrical Licence
n
Experience in FMCG, food processing, manufacturing, agricultural or industrial environments
n
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
Experience with motors, VSDs, PLCs, instrumentation and automated production equipment
n
Understanding of electrical drawings, schematics and control circuits
n
Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens or similar PLC systems highly regarded
n
A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance
n
Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
n
