The agency plays a critical role in helping participants access the supports they need to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting desktop reviews and transposing information into systems and web-based platforms.
Managing allocated workflows and ensuring work is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Delivering high-quality customer service via phone, email and administrative channels.
Addressing straightforward to moderately complex enquiries and providing accurate advice in line with legislation, policy and operational guidelines.
Making outbound calls to participants, providers and other stakeholders.
Undertaking suitability assessments for entry and exit into specialist planning streams.
Managing and resolving participant matters, including planning pathway tasks in accordance procedures.
Identifying risks and escalating complex matters to senior team members when required.
Supporting project and operational activities through research, analysis,
reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working collaboratively with internal teams to contribute to team goals and participant outcomes.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically with participants and stakeholders.
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting people living with disability.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow policy, procedures and legislative frameworks.
Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise judgement when resolving enquiries.
Confidence using computer systems, Microsoft Office and multiple software applications.
The ability to remain calm under pressure, de-escalate challenging situations and recognise risk.
Experience within disability services, health, community services, government administration or customer-focused environments will be highly regarded.
Logistics
The Logistics Until 31 December ****, with a strong view to extension
Hourly Rate: $***** per hour + Super
Full-time Hours, 37.5 hours per week
Citizenship: Australian Citizenship is mandatory
References will be required
