Specialist role requiring ship-borne or land-based explosive ordnance magazine certification experience

Take on a specialist engineering role focused on the integration, certification and safety assurance of armaments and explosive ordnance systems within a complex maritime acquisition environment.
You'll provide technical authority across design assurance, certification, engineering governance and acceptance activities, with a particular focus on explosive ordnance magazines, ammunition storage systems and associated platform integration.
The Role
As an Armaments & Explosive Ordnance Engineer, you'll act as a specialist SME across armaments and EO integration, working with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure technical, safety and regulatory requirements are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing specialist engineering advice across armaments, explosive ordnance and magazine integration
Conducting technical assessments, design reviews, design acceptance and certification activities
Supporting the certification and safety assurance of ship-borne and land-based EO magazines
Reviewing engineering deliverables and supporting hazard, risk, verification and validation activities
Contributing to engineering governance, technical baselines, configuration management and assurance documentation
About You
We're particularly interested in:
A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience with ship-borne or land-based magazine certification
Experience across armaments, explosive ordnance, weapons systems or ammunition storage
Experience within maritime acquisition, shipbuilding, sustainment, land systems or other complex engineering programs
Experience supporting highly complex engineering environments and stakeholders
A current NV1 security clearance or higher
Experience exercising Delegated Technical Authority, working within an Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO), or holding/working towards CPEng would be highly regarded.
