Known for delivering quality projects and building lasting client relationships, the business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its growing Queensland division.
n
The Opportunity
n
Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and Director, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
n
You will be trusted to lead your site, make decisions and resolve issues without being micromanaged. Projects typically range from $5M–$30M across the commercial and industrial sectors.
n
What You Will Be Responsible For
n
Managing all day-to-day site operations from establishment to handover
n
Leading subcontractors, trades and site personnel
n
Driving the construction programme and coordinating daily works
n
Preparing short-term programmes and forward-planning labour, materials and deliveries
n
Conducting site inductions, toolbox meetings and safety inspections
n
Ensuring WHS, quality and environmental requirements are maintained
n
Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
n
Coordinating consultants, inspections and required approvals
n
Monitoring workmanship, progress and subcontractor performance
n
Identifying risks, resolving site issues and preventing delays
n
Maintaining accurate site diaries, records and documentation
n
Managing defects,



completion works and project handover
n
Liaising closely with Project Managers, clients and key stakeholders
n
What Sets You Apart
n
Proven Site Manager experience within commercial or industrial construction
n
A strong track record delivering projects valued between $5M and $30M
n
Excellent subcontractor coordination and programme management skills
n
Solid knowledge of construction methodology, safety and quality requirements
n
The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
n
A confident leadership style and the ability to make sound decisions
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
n
High integrity, accountability and pride in the quality of your work
n
Relevant trade or construction qualifications highly regarded
n
Experience using Procore or BuildPass highly regarded
n
Local Queensland market knowledge advantageous
n
