ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior PR Account Manager will take the reins on a hive of clients spanning food, fashion, lifestyle, services, tech and thought leadership. You'll find the story hiding inside a brief before anyone else spots it, move fast when the news cycle hands you an opening and land the coverage that actually moves the needle.
This isn't a role where you sit one step removed; you'll be a genuine extension of your clients' teams from day one, trusted enough to counsel at the top table and quick enough to catch the story nobody else saw coming.
Some weeks that means writing a pitch sharp enough to land tier one coverage. Others it means running the organic social strategy for a client end to end (content, community, the lot) or leading the room in a current business pitch.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Media Relations & Pitching:
You'll lead media relations and pitching across your accounts, writing sharp pitches and using your own contacts to land top-tier coverage and position clients' leaders as credible voices in their industry.
Client & Campaign Management:
You'll own your accounts end-to-end, from budgets to timelines, running integrated campaigns across earned media, social, influencer and content,



and for some clients managing organic social in full.
Performance & Reporting:
You'll track client satisfaction and coverage against KPIs, turning earned media and social performance into insights that sharpen future campaigns.
Business Growth:
You'll spot growth opportunities within your accounts and beyond, helping lead new business responses from strategy through to pitch.

Success is coverage that lands where it counts, tracked across volume, reach and sentiment. It's clients who stick around because you've made yourself indispensable, with retention, tenure and budget accuracy all sitting comfortably in the green. And when the chance to grow an account or win a new one shows up, you're the one leading the charge.
ABOUT YOU
You've clocked 5-7 years in journalism, a newsroom or a PR agency (ideally a mix of both), and you've built the kind of media relationships that come from actually picking up the phone.
You've worked across consumer, lifestyle and B2B brands, and you're just as comfortable positioning a thought leader or personal brand as you are landing a product story. You write like it's second nature, pitch with genuine confidence and can hold a room of senior stakeholders without blinking.
Things move fast in this industry, and you're the type who gets calmer rather than more frantic when they do. Above all, you're switched on to culture, media, and what's about to happen next, and you back yourself to spot it first.
