About The Role:
As a Spatial Analyst, you will work within Council's Digital and Information Technology team to deliver spatial analysis, mapping, modelling and visualisation solutions that help informed decision-making and improve service delivery across the organisation.
You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to develop and enhance spatial products and services, maintain high-quality spatial data, and support the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices. This banded position offers opportunities for candidates at varying levels of experience, making it an excellent opportunity to further develop your spatial expertise while working on meaningful projects with real community outcomes.
About You:
Motivated GIS professional skilled at transforming spatial data into actionable insights and practical solutions.
Proven experience in GIS technologies, spatial analysis, and data management.
Strong commitment to customer service and stakeholder engagement.
Effective communicator with critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Committed to high-quality outcomes in a team that values, change innovation, continuous improvement, and safety.
Delivery-focused, meticulous, and systematic and value documentation.
Qualifications or equivalent experience in Geographic Information Systems, cartography, surveying, or information technology.
At least five years of relevant industry experience
