Your new company Join a Queensland Government organisation responsible for delivering essential transport services and customer outcomes across the state. Based in Brisbane CBD, this team plays a critical role in managing customer enquiries, complaints, and stakeholder communications while ensuring high standards of service delivery and continuous improvement.
Your new role
As an AO4 Customer Relations Officer, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of customer enquiries and complaints while providing high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders. Working within a fast-paced setting, you will investigate issues, coordinate responses, analyse information, and contribute to positive customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Managing customer feedback, complaints, and enquiries through effective investigation and resolution.
Liaising with internal teams and external service delivery partners to coordinate timely responses.
Preparing professional written correspondence and providing customer-focused verbal advice.
Monitoring and prioritising a fluctuating workload to meet service standards and key performance indicators.
Analysing information and making recommendations in accordance with legislation, policy, and established processes.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, procedures, and project activities.
Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across multiple business areas.
Assisting users of customer relationship management systems, including training, support, and triage of system-related enquiries.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a customer service, customer relations, complaints management, contact centre, or administrative support role.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional correspondence.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
The ability to interpret information, assess issues, and make sound decisions.
Effective time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience working within a government or highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
What you'll get in return
AO4 hourly rate of $***** per hour plus super
12-month temporary assignment through to 30 June **** with potential to extend
Brisbane CBD location
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
