We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator / Production Worker to join our busy carrot processing and packing operation. This is a hands-on role that combines forklift duties with general production and packing tasks in a friendly, team-oriented environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operating a forklift to move carrot bins from the production line to storage and delivery areas
n
Placing carrots into bags from the production line
n
Sorting and grading carrots by size for packaging
n
Labelling bags and preparing products for dispatch
n
Washing and cleaning carrots as part of the processing operation
n
Assisting with general production and packing duties
n
Working effectively as part of a team
n
Manual handling and lifting of up to 20kg when required
n
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A current Forklift Licence (LF)
n
Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently
n
Good attention to detail
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
n
Strong teamwork skills
n
Reliability and a positive attitude
n
Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
n
n
Safety & PPE Requirements
n
Full supervision is provided onsite, and all employees must comply with workplace safety requirements.
n

High-visibility clothing
n
Fully enclosed safety footwear
n
