Mercy Community are on the search for an experienced Registered Nursefor our Residential Aged Care Facility inNudgee. This is a permanent part-time position involving night shifts, working 32 hours per fortnight. This is a great opportunity to join a highly experienced, passionate, and resident.

This position is responsibility for coordinating person-centred care to residents and supervision of staff across one or more clusters within the residential care facility. Working collaboratively within a professional team to provide excellent care and to improve the independence and quality of life of all residents. Our Residential Aged Care facility in Nudgee is a unified community that extends across 4 single-levelled buildings surrounded by several hectares of landscaped gardens.

This role involves but not limited to:
n
n
Providing safe and competent clinical management and nursing interventions in accordance with recognised standards of practice & monitor and oversee staff practices to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care
n
Ensuring residents, their families and significant others are included in the care planning process and engaged in decisions affecting the resident
n
Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards
n
Preparing ANACC documentation so that funding is optimised
n
n
About you
n
n
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
n
Experience in leading a team and supervising staff
n
Be an Australian Citizen,



Australian Permanent Resident, visa holder with no work restrictions
n
Current and valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (NDIS Yellow Card) or ability to apply
n
Must be able to cover night shifts
n
