Salary:£28,598 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 37 per week, adaptable working options available

At Suffolk County Council, collaboration is at the heart of what we do. As a Business Support Coordinator in the Children's and Young People Services (CYP) in the Integrated Front Door (IFD), you will work with colleagues, partners, and communities to build trust, share ideas, and deliver services that make a lasting impact.
Your role and responsibilities
manage and accurately record sensitive safeguarding information
gather and collate intelligence from partner agencies (Police, Health, Education)
maintain high-quality, compliant data systems
respond to enquiries promptly and ensure urgent concerns are escalated
support clear communication across a busy multidisciplinary team
arrange and support multi-agency meetings
track actions and follow up on key tasks
ensure processes align with safeguarding and data protection standards
monitor deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
assist with real-time updates during high-priority cases.
You will need
to be highly organised and efficient with strong administrative skills
to work calmly and effectively under pressure
to be a great communicator with excellent attention to detail
to be confident in handling sensitive and confidential information
experience of Microsoft office systems
passionate about supporting services that protect children and young people.
