The Laboratory Chemist - ANZ supports the ANZ Packaging Coatings division. The role involves developing understanding of key account processes, coating needs, and current technology and methodology used for coating evaluation within the ANZ Packaging Group.
Key responsibilities
Develop a complete understanding of key account processes and coating needs
Develop an understanding of current technology and methodology used for coating evaluation within the ANZ Packaging Group
Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints through effective laboratory investigation of issues and solutions
Carry out, under supervision, formulation modifications to ensure improvements required are achieved to maintain current business
Carry out, under supervision,



new product development work that will meet the current and future needs of customers in ANZ and Asia
Work with ANZ team members to provide support for current product range, including order processing, product shelf-life extensions and technical reports
Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies and general housekeeping
Maintain technical documents as instructed, including TDS and SDS
About you
Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant laboratory experience
Valuable communication and technical writing skills
Coatings-related experience preferred
