Translate complex or ambiguous business needs into structured analytical approaches, measurable outcomes and practical recommendations
Use Python and related analytical tools to automate manual processes and improve efficiency, quality and repeatability
Develop Power BI reporting and self-service analytics for stakeholder decision-making
Identify opportunities to embed AI into analytics, reporting and customer communications
Partner with product, marketing and technology stakeholders to connect customer behaviour with engagement strategies
Mentor analysts and senior analysts through technical challenges
Share knowledge and strengthen analytical capability across the team
Support CommBank Yello, Commonwealth Bank's customer recognition program, through advanced analytics
Requirements
Advanced Python skills, including automating analytical processes and solving complex business problems
Strong experience in customer analytics, predictive or propensity modelling, personalised targeting, scoring or campaign optimisation
Experience using Power BI or comparable visualisation tools to create accessible reporting and self-service analytical solutions
Ability to frame problems, define success measures and translate analysis into clear recommendations for varied stakeholders
Collaborative approach to mentoring,



knowledge transfer and providing practical technical guidance
Strategic and critical thinking, with resilience to navigate uncertainty and changing priorities
Experience applying AI to analytics or process improvement is valued
Financial services experience is not essential where skills are transferable
Commitment to responsible data use and human judgement
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic setting with evolving products, tools and analytical techniques
