Due to the ongoing success of the Goodies venues, a successfully launch of La Buvette and a strong growth plan over the next 12 months, this is a newly created role to meet the demand of the business. The Reservations & Events Co-ordinator is a casual role supporting the Head of Reservations & Events with the day-to-day running of bookings, guest communications, and events across The Goodies venues. It's a hands-on opportunity to learn the reservations and events side of hospitality, working closely with a small, supportive team and gaining exposure to the systems and standards behind a great guest experience.
Key responsibilities
Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally, redirecting where needed.
Accurately enter and update bookings and guest details in SevenRooms.
Confirm reservations and follow up on outstanding bookings, deposits, and guarantees.
Help keep table inventory and daily booking sheets accurate and up to date.
Support the Head of Reservations & Events with event enquiries, from first contact through to the day of the event.
Help prepare function sheets and event run sheets for venue teams.
Assist with site visits and show-rounds for prospective event guests.
Support on-the-day coordination of group bookings and events, liaising with venue teams as needed.
Deliver warm, professional communication that reflects The Goodies' hospitality standards.




Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and basic reporting.

Friendly, professional phone and email manner
Comfortable learning new booking/reservation systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets)
Well organised with good time management
Clear written and verbal communication
Willing to learn and take direction
Stays calm under pressure in a fast-paced workplace
Available to work a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
Genuine interest in hospitality, events, or guest experience as a future career path
