About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our Centurion Water team. As a member of the project delivery team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of packaged water and wastewater treatment plant projects. This role requires a strong focus on client engagement, commercial and risk management, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
This role will be based in Bibra Lake.
Responsibilities
Manage and deliver water and wastewater treatment projects in line with scope, budget, and client specifications.
Lead project planning and execution with a strong focus on safety, in accordance with HSE procedures and KPIs.
Act as the principal point of accountability for allocated projects, ensuring proactive client and stakeholder communication.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and third parties.
Collaborate with internal teams across business development, finance, engineering, procurement, scheduling, and commissioning to achieve seamless delivery.
Contribute to project proposals, scopes, estimates,
and delivery programs.
Maintain up-to-date project schedules and control registers, including commercial management.
Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective outcomes.
Oversee full project lifecycle, including commissioning, handover, and rectification of defects.
Identify and escalation risks to the Project Delivery Manager.
Lead and participate in project meetings, providing accurate progress reports.
Apply risk management practices to minimise project risks.
Support business improvement by maintaining and standardising project frameworks and documentation.
Ensure all work aligns with company policies and procedures.
Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' project management experience.
Experience in water and wastewater treatment packaged equipment (desirable).
Strong ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Robust stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project).
Understanding of project financials and business drivers.
Technical background or hands‐on experience (desirable).
