Lead and coordinate national Work Health, Safety and Environmental (WHS&E;) programs
Drive a positive safety culture, ensure legislative compliance, and support operational excellence across multiple sites
Implement effective safety systems and deliver training programs
Manage incident investigations and promote continuous improvement in workplace health, safety, and environmental performance
Develop, implement, and maintain WHS&E; policies, procedures, and programs
Provide expert workplace health and safety advice to managers and employees
Coordinate and conduct site safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across multiple locations
Lead incident and hazard management, including investigations, reporting, corrective actions, and preventative measures
Develop risk assessments, Protected Operating Procedures, safety alerts, and other WHS documentation
Manage WHS records and documentation
Coordinate safety training for emergency wardens, first aiders, and WHS committee members
Support safety committees and continuous improvement initiatives
Liaise with regulators and external stakeholders on WHS&E; matters
Administer company safety management systems and software
Requirements
Qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline, or willingness to undertake further study
Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, standards, and compliance requirements
Experience implementing and maintaining workplace safety programs and systems
Strong organisational, planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence using digital systems and databases
Ability to build effective relationships and influence positive safety outcomes across all levels of the organisation
High levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information
Current Driver's Licence
Advanced First Aid Certificate
Mental Health First Aid Certificate
Willingness to travel interstate as required
Availability to work outside standard business hours when required
