About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Apps Developer to join a professional technology team supporting the design, development, maintenance, enhancement and production support of business applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Microsoft Power Platform professional to contribute across the full application development lifecycle, including development, bug fixes, enhancements, troubleshooting and production support. The successful candidate will work within a complex ICT environment and collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and service excellence.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Design, develop, maintain and enhance business applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
n
Develop and configure solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate.
n
Contribute across all phases of the application development lifecycle.
n
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including bug fixes and production support.
n
Develop and maintain integrations, APIs and data models.
n
Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
n
Design and build integration components and interfaces.
n
Work collaboratively with technical teams, business stakeholders and project teams.
n
Review, improve and maintain solutions previously developed by others.
n
Apply appropriate development, testing and software design methodologies.
n
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Power Platform solutions and development practices.
n

Highly desirable criteria
n
n
Experience in Power Pages development.
n
Knowledge of security, compliance and data privacy within cloud-based business applications.
n
Experience working in Agile environments.
n
Experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Functions, Logic Apps or AI Builder.
n
Understanding and application of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
n

Strong understanding of software development, build and testing methodologies.

Skills and experience
n
n
Minimum 3 years' recent hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
n
Demonstrated experience developing and extending business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate and other Power Platform components.
n
Strong experience in data modelling, integration development and API development.
n
Demonstrated experience configuring CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
n
Strong software development and design capabilities.
n
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
n
Demonstrated experience working in complex ICT environments and troubleshooting technical issues.
n
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a professional team.
n
Strong understanding of software security and development standards.
