This Traineeship offers you the perfect gateway into the world of local government finance. You will play a vital role in collecting the essential funds that keep our Local Government Area thriving, ensuring vital council services continue to support the community we all care about.
Working alongside and learning from our Revenue experts, you will be guided every step of the way with dedicated, hands‐on mentorship. You will dive into a diverse and engaging office‐based role, handling everything from processing bulk receipts, customer concessions, refunds, rating and customer registers, invoicing, customer phone and written billing enquiries, producing certificates and reconciliations. If you are a team-oriented team player with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, a strong willingness to learn, and the confidence to communicate with our residents, we want to hear from you.

This is a contract opportunity – working full‐time,
35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement + access to study leave to attend courses at your formal education provider during work hours.
Base Salary Range: $37,574 to $57,438 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,562 retention allowance
You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

Commitment to the completion of a Certificate IV in Business
Ability to work in a busy environment
Class C Driver's License or access to reliable transport for attendance at both work and external training providers
