We are seeking a
NDIS Finance & Claims Officer
to join our friendly and collaborative Finance Team. This role is responsible for ensuring services are accurately funded through Service Agreements and NDIS claims, helping Firstchance continue providing essential supports to children and families across our community.

About the Role
This role is essential to ensuring the financial sustainability of services that support children and families every day.
Key Responsibilities
Service Agreements
Cost NDIS-funded supports and prepare Service Agreements
Enter and maintain Service Agreement information within our CRM
Issue Service Agreements to families for approval
Monitor and update agreements when plans, budgets or circumstances change
Ensure accurate records are maintained at all times
NDIS Claims & Revenue
Prepare and review Consultant Hours and activity reports
Undertake pre-claim audits
Submit NDIS claims through our CRM and the NDS portal
Investigate and resolve claim errors, discrepancies and budget issues
Monitor funding utilisation and claiming accuracy
Work closely with program teams to ensure data quality and compliance
Success in This Role Means
Accurate and timely NDIS claiming
Prompt issue and management of Service Agreements
Strong cashflow through efficient claiming processes
Minimal claim rejections and adjustments
Positive and collaborative relationships with families and staff
High levels of accuracy, compliance and attention to detail
About You
You will bring:
Experience in NDIS claiming, plan management, disability services administration, health funding, aged care funding or a similar claims-based workplace
Strong Excel skills and confidence using multiple software systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with Xero
Experience using Echidna or a similar CRM system
Experience working in the disability, community services, health or not-for-profit sector
