About the Role
Good Shepherd Lutheran School is seeking an accomplished Executive Assistant to the Principal to provide high-level executive, administrative and governance support within its welcoming and collaborative school community. As a key point of coordination for the Principal's Office, you will work closely with the Principal, School Board, Leadership Team and broader school community, helping manage priorities, communications, governance activities and strategic initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Principal
Managing the Principal's diary, schedule, correspondence and competing priorities
Acting as the key point of contact and 'gateway' to the Principal's Office
Coordinating School Board and Sub-Committee meetings, including agendas, documentation, minutes and follow-up actions
Preparing professional correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing documents
Managing confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion
Coordinating meetings, events, functions, travel and accommodation
Supporting strategic and operational projects and monitoring key actions and deliverables
Undertaking research and preparing information to support decision-making
Maintaining effective administrative systems, processes and digital records
Supporting communication between the Principal, Leadership Team, Board, staff and key stakeholders
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows and administrative processes

About the Role
Good Shepherd Lutheran School is seeking an accomplished Executive Assistant to the Principal to provide high-level executive,



administrative and governance support within its welcoming and collaborative school community. As a key point of coordination for the Principal's Office, you will work closely with the Principal, School Board, Leadership Team and broader school community, helping manage priorities, communications, governance activities and strategic initiatives.

Undertaking research and preparing information to support decision-making
Maintaining effective administrative systems, processes and digital records
Supporting communication between the Principal, Leadership Team, Board, staff and key stakeholders
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows and administrative processes
About You




You will be an experienced administration or executive support professional who understands what it means to operate in a position of trust. Highly organised and proactive, you are comfortable working independently, anticipating what needs to happen next and balancing multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
You will bring:
Proven experience in office administration and customer service, ideally with experience providing complex executive-level support
Excellent judgement, discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality
The confidence to work autonomously and use initiative
The ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint
A collaborative approach and alignment with the Christian ethos and values of Good Shepherd Lutheran School.
A Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (desirable)
Experience with TASS, Employment Hero or Lexicon (desirable)
Working with Children Clearance
Mandatory Notification Training (RRHAN)
First Aid Certificate
