Are you an experienced
Community Services, Home Care or Aged Care Operations Manager
looking for an prospect to lead service delivery, workforce performance and operational improvement?
We are partnering with an established aged care and community services provider seeking an experienced
Community Manager
to take ownership of the day-to-day operational coordination of its Community Services portfolio.
This is a key leadership position bringing together
service delivery, rostering, workforce capacity, client onboarding, utilisation and operational performance
to ensure clients receive reliable, high-quality services. Reporting to the
Director of Community Services
, you will lead operational teams while working closely with Care Partners, Support Workers, Finance, People & Culture and Quality & Compliance.
The Opportunity
As Community Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring Community Services operates effectively day to day, with a strong focus on
service continuity, workforce utilisation, operational performance and client experience
. You will provide leadership across operational service delivery and act as a key escalation point, identifying service and workforce issues early and coordinating practical solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing day-to-day
operational leadership across Community Services
Overseeing
rostering, scheduling, cancellations and unfilled services
Monitoring workforce capacity, utilisation, service gaps and continuity
Leading, coaching and developing operational team members




Overseeing workforce performance and supporting recruitment and workforce planning
Monitoring operational
KPIs, utilisation and service delivery performance
Supporting accurate operational, funding and government reporting
Managing operational complaints, service concerns and workforce risks
Supporting audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
Driving improvements across workflows, rostering, data integrity and client experience
Supporting implementation of
Support at Home, CHSP and other community aged care program changes
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strong client and service outcomes
About You
We are looking for an experienced operational leader who understands the complexities of delivering services across
aged care, home care, disability, community services, health or a similarly complex service environment
. You will bring strong people leadership skills and be comfortable balancing workforce requirements, client needs, service capacity and operational performance.
To be considered, you will ideally have:
A Diploma in
Community Services, Health, Business, Management
or a related discipline, or substantial equivalent operational management experience




Demonstrated experience leading operational service delivery within
aged care, disability, community services or health
Strong people leadership experience, including
coaching, performance management and workforce planning
Experience using operational data and KPIs to improve service outcomes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and operational escalations
Strong understanding of workforce utilisation and service capacity
Experience within
home care or community aged care
will be highly regarded, particularly exposure to:
Community aged care funding and reporting
PRODA and DSS reporting
Rostering and workforce utilisation
Geographically dispersed workforces
Service improvement and transformation initiatives
What You'll Bring as a Leader
You'll be someone who can see the bigger operational picture while still understanding what needs to happen on the ground. You'll be confident leading through others, making timely decisions, identifying service and workforce risks and using operational data to turn problems into practical action. Most importantly, you'll be passionate about building a positive, accountable team culture and ensuring clients receive reliable and high-quality community services.
Additional Requirements
Current driver's licence
Ability to travel across Community Services regions as required
Ability to meet relevant police check, aged care and organisational compliance requirements
Some out-of-hours flexibility may occasionally be required
