Huhtamaki Foodservice is one of Australia's leading foodservice packaging suppliers, with operations across Australia and a broad customer base including metropolitan and regional distributors, food wholesalers, hospitality suppliers and major national customers.
Our South Australian business continues to grow, and we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our team.
About the Role
As Account Manager – South Australia, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key customers while actively developing new business opportunities across the SA market.
A major focus of the role will be building robust partnerships with distributors, wholesalers and strategic customers, understanding their businesses and identifying opportunities to grow together.
Reporting directly to the State Manager, you'll have genuine ownership of your customer portfolio and play an important role in the continued growth of our South Australian business.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage, retain and grow a portfolio of key accounts
Develop strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers and strategic customers
Identify and win new business opportunities
Increase Huhtamaki's share of business within existing customers
Prepare proposals, quotations and commercially competitive solutions
Conduct regular customer reviews and identify opportunities for growth
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
Work closely with Customer Service, Operations and the broader Huhtamaki team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
About You




We're looking for someone who combines strong relationship management with a genuine drive to grow business.
You'll ideally have proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development or B2B Sales, along with strong commercial awareness, communication, and negotiation skills.
You'll be comfortable managing significant customer relationships, identifying opportunities and taking ownership of them from initial conversation through to implementation.
Experience within foodservice, packaging, distribution, wholesale, hospitality supply or a related B2B industry would be highly regarded but isn't essential. For the right commercially minded salesperson, we can teach you packaging.
